Communal Courtyard is conceived as a shared living environment for young artists seeking connection, inspiration, and affordability. Rather than isolating residents within private units, the project minimizes personal space and expands collective areas, encouraging daily encounters and creative exchange. Basic living functions are contained within compact units, while kitchens, studios, and gathering spaces unfold into generous shared zones.
The façade, composed of translucent membranes, glass, and wood, shifts between clarity and opacity, expressing varying degrees of privacy and openness. Compact yet layered, the project aims to become both a starting point and a creative haven—fostering a new mode of communal life.
