This project focuses on the northern port area of Charlestown, where logistics infrastructure dominates the waterfront and limits public access while amplifying flood risk and urban heat.
Rather than resisting water through hard defenses, the proposal reimagines the ground itself as a performative landscape. Through a system of distributed and connected retention basins, raised circulation routes, and flood-adaptable spaces, the site is designed to absorb, stage, and communicate water at different in tensities.
