This project creates an ambiguous relationship between figure and ground, interior and exterior, and the division of spaces. A singular, thin, curving boundary becomes the foot print of the building, denoting a singular space that is divided through the concave and convex curves: no internal walls are needed to divide the major program. All spaces are connected by sight, creating a sense of cohabitation between its users. Perspectival views are created between the spaces through topography in both the interior and exterior of the project.
The building is split between performing arts on the ground floor and visual arts on the second.
